Free and family-friendly, with Santa. Steps off at Biden St & Franklin Ave, up Biden, left on Washington Ave, right on Linden St, finishing on Adams Ave at Courthouse Square. Running since 1993.

South & South Main Streets to Public Square
Road closures start at 1:30 PM. The parade heads up South and South Main Streets to Public Square, where the city's Christmas tree is lit.

Thanksgiving Eve lighting of the WEJL tower downtown. Scranton's Holiday Window Showcase in downtown shop windows runs Nov. 25 through Jan. 1.

Festival of Lights at Stone Hedge
When: Nov. 27–Dec. 31, nightly (closed Christmas Eve)
Hours: Sun–Thu 5–9 PM · Fri–Sat 5–10 PM
Stone Hedge Golf Course, 55 Stonehedge Dr, Tunkhannock, PA 18657
Drive-through light show at the golf course, plus a heated pavilion with food and s'mores. Tickets are sold at the gate only, no online sales. Santa is in the pavilion for free photos Sun–Wed nights before Christmas.

Joy Through the Grove at Knoebels

Worth the drive (about an hour from Wilkes-Barre): a two-mile drive-through route with 500+ lit displays. Check Knoebels for pricing. The Christmas Village at Three Ponds Golf Course is open Thu–Sun, 4–9 PM.

Holiday Light Spectacular at Nay Aug Park
2026 dates: Not posted yet. Last season: Nov. 24 to about Jan. 7, nightly 5–9 PM.
Nay Aug Park (enter at Mulberry St & Arthur Ave, near the Everhart Museum)
Free drive-through with 100+ displays on a 0.8-mile route, running since 2004. Santa on select weekends, Brookvalley Farm horse-drawn carriage rides on select nights. Use Arthur Ave, not Mulberry St by the hospital. Donations welcome.

Free and cheap ways to see the lights
- Free: Nay Aug Park's drive-through, the Peckville, South Scranton and Jessup Christmas houses, Courthouse Square and every parade and tree lighting above.
- Make a night of it: Nay Aug Park, South Scranton, Courthouse Square and Marywood are all in Scranton, and Peckville and Jessup are a short drive up the valley.
- Weeknights are calmer: drive-throughs back up on Friday and Saturday nights and the week before Christmas.
