The parade committee says it marches Sunday, Nov. 8. In past years it stepped off at 2 PM from Wyoming Ave. & Market St. in Kingston, crossed the Market Street Bridge and finished at a reviewing stand on Public Square. We'll confirm the 2026 start time and road closures as soon as the city or the committee posts them.

Restaurants usually announce their Veterans Day meals and discounts in early November. We only list an offer once the restaurant has posted it, so check back as Nov. 11 gets closer.
- Sat., Nov. 7: veterans get in free to the Law Revue Talent Show at the F.M. Kirby Center in Wilkes-Barre.
- Wed., Nov. 11: food and refreshments follow the Jessup ceremony at American Legion Post 411, and a light luncheon follows the Jermyn ceremony.
- Sun., Nov. 8: the Annual Veterans Mass in Minooka (Scranton) is followed by a social in the parish hall.
